Ensete ventricosum 'Montbeliardii'

A superb cultivar of Ensete ventricosum introduced many years ago now by David Constantine.  It is a more upright and elegant plant than 'Maurelii' and our favourite tender foliage banana.  We also find it is a bit more cold tolerant than 'Maurelii' so has a longer growing season in a UK summer.  Rarely available compared to the mass produced 'Maurelii'. 

We have small numbers growing on propagated from our own plants - starting to be available from early July 2025.
