An excellent rarely available form of Ensete ventricosum. Grows very rapidly during the summer when planted outside when given plenty of feed and water. Hinibas are typically more upright with narrower leaves than the standard ventricosum. The leaves have a distinctive purplish red midrib and purple margins and tips. When in active growth, Hiniba takes a bit more cold than many expect - we typically don't bring ours under cover until early November.
We have small numbers growing on propagated from our own plants - batches starting to be available from July 2025 in 9cm pots.
