Small plants available in larger numbers this year in 9cm pots from September 2025.

Giant Himalayan Banana.  Our favourite hardy banana, which we have found to be just as hardy as basjoo and sikkimensis.  It has huge leaves often with a purple hue to the reverse and a silvery bloom to the pseudostems.  Sometimes described as a form of sikkimensis, it is actually a separate species.  These are our seed grown plants.

Please note that these are small plants and will need to be kept frost free this winter with a minimum temperature of around 5C..
