Musa sikkimensis

Seed grown Manipur Banana.  One of the best choices for growing outdoors in the UK, doing well in cool summers.  Leaves are dark green, sometimes with variable red markings and pale purple undersides when young.  Leaves have better wind resilience than Basjoo.  Reliably root hardy in most parts of the UK when it reaches a larger size.
