Giant White Sunflower tree

Very rarely available in the UK, another rather special plant from the cloud forests of Central America.  Best grown in the UK  for its oversized jungly foliage, it can also produce large daisy like white flowers with a black and green centre in late winter/spring in milder frost free climates.  In cooler parts of the UK, it will need to be kept under cover and frost free during the winter months.  Prefers a moist but well drained spot out of direct sun for most of the day.
