Strobilanthes matersii

Rarely seen distinctly large leaved Strobilanthes with purple hints to the foliage when grown in sun.  Can easily grow to 2m in one summer!   Will probably take light frosts if mulched, but maybe best to keep undercover during the winter months unless you have a spare one to experiment with!
