Wigandia caracasana

From Central America and rarely seen in the UK so far, a fast growing shrub with giant velvety heart shaped leaves, making an interesting addition to a jungle themed garden.  Prefers a sheltered warm spot or can also be grown as a container plant.  Will need overwintering frost free - can possibly take light frosts when larger.  CAREFUL - can get a bit of a sting from the leaves!
